What a week... Today after seminar felt like I just hit the wall. Tough not having advisors around but I kept plugging along this week. Been riding the wave a lot recently so its kinda humbling to have a few slow days. Anyways, havnt gotten as many miles in as I would have liked this week, so I knew I had to go this afternoon. Went to the dining hall for lunch so I wasnt too hungry at night and got right out the door. Legs felt foreign. Hard to get them truly going. Went up around a loop of Amherst College, stopped briefly to watch the baseball game, and kept going up Dickinson. Came across town and made my way to Pratt to do some striders. By that time I was feeling pretty burnt, lightheaded and tired Just the cumulative stress of the week coming off. So glad I have running to release that. Striders were actually good. I havent gotten legs moving in a while so it felt weird at first. So glad the race isnt today because that would have been miserable. After the quick striders made my way back home nice and easy. It was getting dark and chilly by then.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Stretch roll felt good. Legs dont feel all relaxed like they should before a race. Hope weather is nice, havnt been thinking about racing at all lately so this should just be relaxed and fun. Should be lots of people to run with, hope I can beat my time from least year. Perhaps the best part is all the solid food at Berkshire afterwards!
