2nd 3k... and an 800m

Comments:
I felt sooo good on the progressive warm-up for the 4x800m. And I felt even better when I was racing. I ran in the relay for Nisha who came to the meet but couldn't race because she was sick. I know that I could've gone way faster on that second lap. I thought the Corning girl in second was too far ahead to catch at the end, she about 60 meters ahead when I reached the final 200 meters, but now I'm starting to doubt that. And to think we could've got some shirts (and more points for the team).
Things just kinda fell apart in the 3k though. I'm not sure what happened; it wasn't the heat, I've raced the 3k in worse weather before, I guess it was just a bad race.
I think I want to run some shorter races on Tuesday, maybe the 400 and 800.
When I got home and finished unpacking, I was just about to sit down and eat dinner when my cat Chipmunk decided that this moment, right here, right now, was the greatest moment to throw up on the kitchen floor. Literally next to where I was standing. She's not even sick, the little pig probably just ate to fast. My parents were in buffalo so I had to clean it up which wasn't exactly the best way to finish the day.


The 13 minutes I put for the 3k is just an estimate, I don't know exactly what I ran.
