Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
So today I went to Veronica to put heat on my shins before practice and I was allowed to run for up to 20 mins (warmup lap and then on the treadmill), buuuuuttttt, I forgot my shoes. So Abigail lent me her extra pair which was very nice, buuuuuuttttt, since they weren't mine and were a little big I figured I should just do treadmill to be easier on the shins. So I did 15 minutes on a bike and then 10 minutes on the treadmill, buuuuuuttttt, my calves were super duper tight and painful so the 10 mins was in 6 and 4 min chunks so I could roll in the middle and then I had to stop for something else and treadmill is so boring, so it wasn't a great first run in a while overall. However, my shins only hurt a bit the first 2-3 minutes of each piece which apparently means it's only the first level of shin splints which is good.
Congrats to Tristan on his mile. It was so cool to watch!
Strength: Felt very unmotivated during group strength- Planks (1:00), PLL (10 per), Clams (25 per), Pike-Tuck Leg Lifts (15), Assisted Squats (just the bar, 20), Bench (just the bar, 10), Inverted Sit-Ups (10)
