Cornell Long Run

Comments:
I went on a 60 minute run with Lizzy, Ingrid, Zoe M, Sylvia, Julia, and Britt. We met at the Cornell track and then went out as if we were doing a monkey run and then turned onto the freeze road trails to make it shorter. I made everyone go up this really muddy cliff-like hill on the freeze road trails just to try something new. I felt kinda bad about that because they all seemed really tired when we left the track, but it was still fun.
I was one the phone with my grandfather after practice because it was his birthday, and while we were talking he kept asking me about my 4x800m relays. I thought it was just because he ran track and was a track coach for about 40 years, but after I was finished talking my dad said "you know his 4x800m team broke the national record in high school". That was back in the 1940s so the times have gotten a lot faster, but I still thought it was really impressive.
