Nice summer day. Had softball practice at Kiwanis in the late afternoon. It was good we actually played pretty well, got to meet some new teammates. Felt like my hitting could be better but its been a while. When I got home, the temperature was perfect, and I still had some exercise energy. I quickly headed out for a little shake out run. Its been several days since I have run and I have been feeling pretty shitty so I actually really wanted to do something. I needed it. Just did the loop, lower legs pretty tight but I held pace well and felt comfortable. Shins never really loosened up. Spur of the moment feeling but I knew I needed it and glad I went.
Essentials: Stretch, L7
Decent stretch and L7 just to sit out on the grass and chill. Legs actually feel fine after, ankle a little tight. Probably gonna be more sore in my back from throwing and hitting. Season starts next week, and there isnt as much crazy stuff going on during the week so I can get back into the groove.
