Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Definitely one of my longest and fastest runs since cross country. I decided to make 8:30 my goal pace, but I ended up going a lot faster than that. I went around BeeBee, up Hanshaw, through the Warren rd. farm and then back through Cornell. It was really quiet on the campus. I'm assuming most of the students are gone, studying, or taking a final.
There were some hills and stairs on my run which I'm still adjusting to again. Going up Hanshaw killed me even though it's not even that steep. I'll admit I only ran up a few sets of stairs, but the ones I walked up were still exhausting. I'm dreading the day we run up Cascadilla Gorge. If we do that soon it will probably be more of a crawl instead of a run.
It was slightly humid out and sweat kept dripping into my eyes which was annoying.
I was working on my Global research paper until 1:30 last night. I was just so desperate to finish it. Now I'm really happy because I just have to check my citations and proofread it one or two more times before I'm done. I've been working on my paper for a couple months now so it will be great to complete it two days before the deadline.
At the end of the run I passed my mom taking Scooter for a walk and she said that I just missed Noah M who was running with his dad.
I'm excited for the junior olympics tomorrow. I'm not sure if we're going on a run together before or after, or not at all. I kept asking the girls if we were meeting Cornell this morning, but I really was not getting much information out of them which is why I ran alone today.
