Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50s, nice
Comments:
Solo run. CA's out with a calf strain again, which blows. Jogged easy around the river area, then got after it, 8 reps. I had in the back of my mind the fact that both Mike and Callie had run a 76 rep on this (which was my fastest). I didn't try to push super-hard, but I was much faster today.
The focus:
- get the feet going
- strong hip-knee drive
- pelvis left, strong R knee drive
- tall
- arms behind
Worked pretty good, because I was fast on all of 'em:
74, 77, 77, 77, 76, 75, 74, 72!
Felt pretty good, as did the short stride (x8) on the bottom. Did a light mile jog, then CA had breakfast waiting!
PM: BIG DAY. Finally got my clinical space reserved, so I made it official: gave Jeff "notice" today that I'm resigning! WHEW!
Later: took some website-professional pics (with CA's former coworker, who's a freelance photog) at Kelly's massage studio, then celebrated with beers at Coldfire! BIG DAY!
