Charleton to Twins TH, then Mt Ray Trail - work

July 16, 2016 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Walk

Comments:
Trail work, where CA and I led a group!

- me and CA
- a couple of older ladies (in their 60s, nice, outdoorsy and veteran ultrarunners)
- Laura (back of pack ultrarunner)
- Jacob ( a guy from Redmond who actually works for the FS, and has a sawyer cert)
- Nate Jaqua, a good 30ish ultrarunner, Eugene native, who just won SD100!

Relative to the rest of the camp, we had light trails, but two small, finicky saws. The new say of OD's slowly went to shit (not enough O2?), so it slowly became unusable. Thankfully Jacob's saw worked great. The three of us (him, me, and CA) traded off sawing the backside of Twins. Because of the saw probs, this 10-mile loop too like 6-7 hours!

We got done at 5, but I knew LB and his crew was out on Fuji-Mt Ray, so four of us: me and CA, Jason and Nate, went to Mt ray to back clear 'til we found 'em, which was cool!

Fun to get in some saw time. Had one bad pinch, otherwise a safe and good time! Skeeters were so-so around Twins, then TERRIBLE on Mt Ray trail!

NO running today, since I got in SO late last night, and we didn't finish working til after 8!
