Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Woke up in the mini-house, packed up, then got some coffee downtown, and headed north to Smith Rock. I've never been to this classic Bend-ite training ground, so it was good to check it off the list.
Parked outside the park and ran easy in. We each had a bottle, but it wasn't too hot. I was tired-wiped out and not super-excited to run, but this turned out to be a good one.
We ran down to river side, then did two counter-clockwise loops around the rocky ridges. The northern area didn't have many folks, then we ran into a ton of people along the south climbers.
Did a 2-hr loop, stopped for water at the start, then did one more loop, this time cutting short to go up-and-over the ridge.
3hr run, 15mi, and a nice and easy 123 HR.
Got some beers and nachos in Redmond, then headed home!
