800 Meter workout

Weather: When you almost break your 800m pr... twice

Comments:
The first four weren't too bad. Grace, Zoe, and I stayed together and we were on pace. I started getting blisters, I'm not sure why, and by the fourth one they really hurt. I didn't get new spikes and this has never happened before so maybe I just put them on in a slightly different way than usual. The 5th and 6th reps I tried to stay with Lizzy and Charlotte, but I finished a bit behind them. I was very close to my 800m pr on both those reps though, so that was cool. On the 7th rep, I was almost limping because it felt like the skin on the back of my feet had either been torn up or totally rubbed off. After the workout I took off my spikes and saw that a lot of the skin was actually gone or torn up. It wasn't pretty, I'm glad I have tomorrow off.
We started phase 2 in the weightroom. I thought my weight for the exercises felt way too easy. I felt like I could do 10 reps or more at that weight.
