Before practice I went to Kim's office to get my blisters taped. The other woman in the office put on a bandage and I asked her to keep the layer of tape thin. She did kept it thin, but covered pretty much my whole foot and ankle. It felt weird at first but I liked it.

Our warmup was running to the black diamond trail in Cass Park. The workout ended up being 4x20 second hills, a 2min jog, 10 minute tempo on the Black Diamond trail, 4x20 second hills, 2 minute jog, and then an 8 minute tempo. On the hills I hung back behind the girls. After a few minutes of the 10 minute tempo, I moved up and ran next to Grace. We finished the 10 minutes before we got back to the hill so we just slowed down a bit. The first rep on the hills was hard but it got easier after that because we got some rest walking back down the hill. We did another 2 minute jog before heading into our 8 minute tempo. I know I have a lot more strength than speed, so I trusted that it would carry me through the tempo. When I finished, I was tired but also relaxed and confident that I could've kept up that tempo for a while longer if I had to. We ran back to the high school after Lizzy went to the bathroom for the 200th time this afternoon. When we got back I took off my shoes and socks and saw that my blisters had bled through the bandage and tape on both ankles. I was surprised because I didn't feel anything while we were running. The weird part was that when I got home, I took off the tape and my blisters didn't look like they had been bleeding. My parents don't want me to run tomorrow or Sunday. I'm okay with taking tomorrow off, but I really want to run on Sunday.
