I Am Motivated Once More!

Good News! The meet seems to have jogged my memory for now that I do sometimes like running! I was going to x-train today because the meet was a bit hard on my shins, but I was in a really bad mood when I got home because I'm stressed about trying to switch classes and I've just had a really bad week overall, so I decided to run in the hope that it would clear my mind. I don't really like running in this temporary neighborhood because it's very hilly and too quiet, and there's this guy who wanders around mumbling to himself who kinda creeps me out because I'm way too paranoid when I'm out alone. Anyway, to get away from the neighborhood, I ran out across Connecticut and up through the side streets past Sheridan to my actual house, and on the way I saw Lucia walking home who cheered for me which was really nice! <3 I took a break or two to stretch calves on the way, because although I spent ten minutes pre run rolling and stretching they still got tight. I loosened up after a bit though, and it was really nice to run by my house and in my neighborhood a bit, although I sadly didn't see anyone I know and it kinda made me miss it more. I ran back, and got home feeling much happier and very proud that I had the motivation today to get out. I think this is me getting out of my rut. I don't know what I'll be able to do this weekend because I'm missing practice tomorrow and going to Florida for my cousin's bat mitzvah, but I will try to do something at least one day. Very glad I could start off my hopefully better training today though! Strength to come if I have time.
