Evan's long-Constitutional Hunt

October 11, 2016 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 60, sunny!

Comments:
I thought about not hunting, since I had my UR column to write - and I'd run 8 miles, already - but it was SO damn nice, I just had to.

Small but good crew today:

- me, lc, Tommy
- Hammer, Evan, CB

Evan led, going rather grindy up Alder to Spring, but once at Baldy, we skirted the west shoulder to Dillard. From there, we took the road to Ridgeline. Once there, we saw a guy looking for a dog. Half-mile later: another guy with "a found dog". Oops. So we ran back to find Guy A to link him to his dog. Once we doubled back, we kept goin to Fox Hollow, where Evan took us on this "secret road" south, which is along 3-6% downhill -- good to know! Ran down about a kilo,then back...then back on Ridgeline...to the east shoulder of Baldy and Spring.

Long run, but I felt pretty good. For fun, I ran without using a headlamp, simply trying to "feel out" the trail. Sort of fun!

Post-run:
- a dinner of basically chips and beer
- pick up Callie Alice...where 11PM turned into 1:15PM!
