Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Travel day back to Amherst. Rained a little but weather and traffic were fine. Get organized when I got back then headed out after it got dark and chilly. It was tough to get into a real smooth rhythm with the darkness, but I felt fine and good to get my legs moving, especially after the boring drive. Down at Fort River it was really dark, and I could see the stars. That was pretty cool. Coming up the hill felt fine had a great pace, but back through town got stopped at all the stop lights and that broke up the tempo. Then rolled my ankle a little bit when I came across the crosswalk. Was going pretty good till then but I had to slow down finishing up home. Wasnt the worst one every but it hurt and its gonna be tight moving forward.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretch out and rehydrate when I got back, good for the post drive legs. They feel ok, knees a little tight. Ankle sore need to wrap it up, stretch it out and keep an eye on it. Couldnt really get to the gym today but I would like to during the week, fit in some short lifts for the back and core that has been feeling weak lately.
