Comments:
Today was hectic, I spent most of it looking for chemicals in the lab that Homeland Security wanted us to report so that no one can make bombs out of them. Honestly, I invite a terrorist in the try and find some of them because I couldnt, especially the ones that we almost 10 years old. Anyways, I really really wanted, and needed, to run this afternoon so I brought my stuff and ran from the parking lot. It was dark, but not overly cold actually. It was comfortable, and I just took it easy because I couldnt really see and didnt want to trip. I let the thoughts of this week ruminate and mix, thinking about whats going on now at the end of the semester. My mood in lab oscillates a lot I realized, I think all grad students do. Just need to remember its always moving forwards. Anyways, the XC course was really nice with the stars out. I continued through campus and ended at the gym to get a good stretch in. Got to pick up the pace when I got back to the street lights.
Essentials: Stretch, L7
Great stretching session felt very flexible. What my legs needed they havent had that in a while. Also did a good L7 but I couldnt get a free roller which I wasnt too happy about. Jogged back to the parking lot afterwards, legs felt worked and strong. The nice a smooth mileage was good today, what I needed to keep me on the path.
