December 29, 2016 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran again in the afternoon after digesting my little snack. Did a bunch of fun biking in the morning and we got back right before a huge rainstorm came through. That made the beach moist, but the tide was down so some of the harder packed sand was exposed down by the water. Ran all the way up the beach around the Northside and almost to the end of the beach near the bridge. Up on the north part the wind was really whipping. The beach was super huge just feel like I was running on a salt flat or something. It was surprisingly calming though. I feel like this whole year my brain has always been racing, thinking critically about pretty much everything. Even on runs. It was nice to just try and relax, which I should be doing more and more. Anyways when I turned around I stayed back on the beach for a bit until I had the chance to get off. I just cut over to the bike road then took that back to 7th. Felt real good finishing up actually. 30 straight minutes on the beach was solid.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretched out in the driveway. Legs feel great but upper body back and core feel weak and sluggish. It really has been a while since I was in the gym and now I can really tell. Wouldn't mind picking that back up or at least getting abs in each day.
Again just guessing on the mileage.
