short SEHS barefoot, then 6x200

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: chilly, cold front coming in

Comments:
Weird day. Slept in (thank God!), then got a bunch of stuff done around the house, including fully checking out of 4705, and getting the W-D hooked up at the new place. But I didn't get to "work" (the coffee shop) til after noon. Got a fair amount of done, but didn't get to the run 'til 2:30.

Just felt a little off again today, but decided on some short mileage and quick speed. Ran a mile on the bark, then went and did two miles barefoot on the SEHS turf, then over to the track.

The stride felt OK enough but...the splits were not great, even with a moderate wind. Only after the fifth one did I figure out I had some pelvic restriction on the right. Stretched and swung it out, then did one more and felt better.

Splits:

32.7, 33.0, 33.3, 32.4, 33.2, 32.3

Did about half and half clock vs ccw on the track. Jogged back to work, then home.

I felt apprehensive about my stride, since something just feels "off", so I had CA film me at home: it actually looked pretty GOOD. I do have some pelvic drop on the right (and a touch of trunk L), but it's just fine, so that's good.

Rest of the day:
- packed up for Yachats!
- felt REALLY tired, but a little better after an allegra
- met Tommy and Carrie at Yachats Brewing, and later by Ed (OD) and Julie for our New Year's fest! We're sharing a place for the weekend.
