Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First run of 2017. Went in the late morning to get it out of the way kinda. Weather fine little chilly. Hit the hills hard today. Up to Giles footbridge, along Stewart, then went up more and came across Ho Plaza and the Arts quad, then down along University ave. Felt strong up the hills for the most part. Not to many people out and I could just cruise along on my own. Once I got back downtown, I was flying felt so strong and good. Familiar feeling but its been a while since I felt that "in shape". The consistent mileage, no matter how long it is, helps a lot.
Essentials: Stretch
Ok stretch when I got back. Felt like I could have kept rolling at that finishing pace for a while so it was nice to get right into stretching when my legs felt good. Happy with that start to the year for training. Still feel like I could use more lifting and gym work though.
With the hills def went over 4 miles but not sure how much.
