Easy SNOW run

January 4, 2017 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 20s, shitload of snow

Comments:
For maybe the third time in 9 years, it snowed...then kept snowing. Woke up to a legit 4" at the house, and it kept coming. It was driveable at first, but as it got tamped down, it worsened. On top of that, it just kept snowing!

Thankfully I got to work, saw both my AM patients, then got coffee, and my allergy injection. Then I had two coaching chats before I was able to get out and run. It was a solid, productive day.

I made it (uphill and) home, then left for a run. Ran back down to SEHS, to Chinook to drop rent, then downtown...to the river path. I figured it'd be at least consistent footing, and it was: somewhat mashed down. I wore my seldom-used Salomon Speedcross' (from TNF '12), and they were pretty solid.

Felt pretty good, and didn't fall, which was nice. Ran down to VRC, crossed, came back through Alton Baker, then all the way to Autzen Bridge and back via campus and 24th. Solid nearly 10-mile loop!
