Campus Run

January 6, 2017 (Night)

End of the week didnt really feel like it since it was a short one. Feeling sad and restless at the end of the day, since it was Dongpo's last day. I will miss him so much. I knew a run was what I needed. I could feel it. It was pretty cold after the sun went down, changing in the car was brutal. Plan was to go out the access road, but when I got there it was a solid sheet of ice. I had to work back and run around campus. Ran out to Triangle St then up Orchard Hill, down and around Infirmary Way, then came back through and finished at the gym. For some reason when I crested Orchard Hill, legs just got a jolt to go fast. They felt incredible. Like that was what I was supposed to be doing at that exact time, and I knew exactly how to do it. Pretty much tried to hold that uptempo pace the rest of the way. Really felt like its been a while since I could fly like that, and in the cold lonely night it was pretty cool. HR was ~ 140 when I finished right around a solid training run.

Essentials: Stretch, roll, L7, abs

Gym was also pretty empty, and I got right to a nice stretching session. Legs felt so good it was easy. Fit in all the essentials and abs. The abs felt really good. Afterward bundled back up and ran back to the parking lot.
