Comments:
Tepmo today down MLK. Felt pretty good and definitly better than either of the workouts last week. Was able to run the same pace as last week with the extra mile and felt a lot better. I think its from running in a big pack the whole time. Last week I felt I was almost tripping over people the whole way and this probably made it more mentaly draining. This week was just me Tim Smith Nick and Robert. Robert coming back from his foot injury just did 3 and Nick and Tim continued for an extra one after I finnished. The pace was faster than the goal which probably is the reason my heart rate was a little high. I tend to agree with Tim Smith as to why this was so. But it was kinda nice to see that my pace was the same even with the extra mile to get an effort comparison. I was able to pick it up slightly in the last mile. But it definitly was not anywhere close to all out. I was tired at that point too. 3x 300 acclerations as usual along with the drills beforhand to work on turnover. It felt nice to smoothly acclerate off the final turn which always feels good. My turnover isn't where I'd like it yet though. I feel a little sluggish and not relaxed at the end of these.
