January 30, 2017 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: STAGNANT AIR - terrible
Comments:
Up early. I had a 0700 patient, and she needed to run early because of work, so we both ran at 6AM. Ran easy down to Amazon and over to South. We tried to run barefoot, but the dew and air was so cold (mid-30s) that it was extremely painful, so we made it maybe a kilo before calling it quits. I then was already out of time, so I simply jogged home.
Felt...OK enough. Some gut rot from dinner last night, so I was deucing a lot. This is my last day of antibiotics!
Rest of the day:
- client at 7
- coaching work
- felt like ASS. The whole town is COVERED in bad smog, so I said, "Fuck it!". CA was leaving on a week-long work trip to PDX, so I bailed for Yachats!
Packed up, drove over, got there at 3ish, and worked at Overleaf 'til 4. Had a good chat with Brian, a former PT student, who is going to be my new assistant for gait analysis! Spent like 80 minutes showing him (online, using Google Hangout, which is clutch).
After that: was in just a BLEH mood. Didn't feel like I got much done.
- left and checked into Drift Inn
- grabbed some stuff to walk to Yachats Brewing...and locked my keys in my truck!
- called AAA and set up a unlocking
- went and ate some great grub (and fairly OK Kombucha) at YB
- AAA came right as I finished eating
- checked in, then hung out, watching "Back to the Future" II and III while working
- in bed too late.
Good day! Fun to do this stuff and glad to breathe good air. Beautiful out at the coast, but not a breath of wind (thus the stagnant air inland).
