EEEasy Enterprise-Papenfus out and back

March 7, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 50, gray, but not too rainy

Comments:
Easy recovery day. Kids did team warm-up (annoyingly rushed but...OK, I guess). Then we did a seated arm-swing drill, trying to hone shoulder blade-driven arm swinging, then ran easy 40 minutes.

Running in Pleasant Hill is REALLY challenging. It'd be like...running in Foresthill...if there were no trails, and more traffic! So Enterprise is the best "route" because it has a wide shoulder for most of it. I really want to try to get creative with more routes.

The kids are doing a REALLY good job at keeping things easy. Guys probably TOO easy, and girls...get a teeny bit grindy at times. Ran with Daeyla, who's mom is an ultrarunner. They both do a lot of trail adventures. Good chat with her and learned a bit more about her strengths (ultrarunning-like endurance) and weaknesses (difficult to "get out quickly"). So we'll work on those!

Did nothing back at school; just wanted them to have a chill, "low-brain day". Got out by 4:40!

PM: home to work, but really crashed out. TIRED. No hunt or social.
