Solo Long Run

Ran solo today for my long run. From North Side up North Park to Parkland for a 10 miler Tim Smith showed me the other day. I got rained on a bit towards the end so I have been rained on at some point everyday for the last 7 days which sucks. This run was really good feeling wise though. I was able to keep up my usual Tim Smith long run pace which is good and I didn't feel the race too much as I was running. JUst a little tightness in my caves. That said I my quads are really sorenow especially the lower portion of them. I will definitly need an ice bath Monday if not before. A nice run though. It flew by and I jammed to Journey again. The changing colors along North Park are especially nice. Good solid long run especially the day after a legit meet. I tried to be a grass magnet but it did feel good to have firm ground and concrete under my feet as opposed to the slop yesterday.
