Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Charlotte and I planned for a weekday run since I was busy this weekend. Met up at town center. I was busy busy at lab and started to poop out in the afternoon. Havnt felt all that productive the last few days working on the MALLS, but the little things add up in the end. Therefore, I was looking forward to a run. Not as hot as the past few days, but comfortable enough for splits. Felt alright starting out. We headed into RFT and just went around. I get so lost back there but she knows the trails. Honestly, we just went really far out, realized it had been 30 mins, then turned around. It barely felt like anything getting out there. Felt soo good in the fresh spring air. On the way back had to take care down the hill on the rocks. Picked it up once we got onto the road, and then once I passed off at High St, got into a solid groove and flew back to the house. Just felt awesome today. Real impressed with the mileage. It always amazes me how simple it can be to bust that out especially when you are running with someone and just in the zone.
Essentials: Stretch
Simple stretch when I got back. Everything feeling decent, even though my shoes are starting to fade away. Didnt really notice that today. Good hype up run considering some of the research I have done this week and the marathon this weekend. Very exciting stuff.
Once you get out there on the RFT, no knowing the mileage. I would guess over 8 today though considering the pace. May have even been 9!
