Got to sleep in and recharge today. I know my body really needed that actually. It was real nice out in the afternoon at running time. Just classic spring feel. Got on my new shoes today. The old ones were just blasted out, more miles than I have put on shoes in a while and more than I would ever like. They didnt have Ghost 9s in my size, and the saleswoman tried to switch me over to Saucony, New Balance, or Asics. I just wasnt feeling it at all. I decided to switch over to the Launch, another neutral shoe, but much lighter, not as much as a beast as the other trainers. Starting out today, it was a little but weird, could def feel the arch ridge in the orthotic, but I just kept going and it evened out feeling real real smooth actually. They definitely feel lighter. Feeling decent up through campus. Lots of people out and about. Did my lift then rolled on back. There was a huge car show going on in the parking lot which was cool. I kinda suspected it since I have been seeing Ferraris and Lambos driving around town, and thats not normal. There were some pretty cool cars there. I felt pretty good on the way back, and the shoes were real smooth by then.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Needed a solid stretch when I got back. Rolled out too just to be safe if my IT adjusts to the new shoes in any weird way. Felt refreshing to get out for some sun and breeze today. Hope legs are feeling fresh for the race next weekend.
