I was a 4x800m alternative, but then Emma said that she was definitely racing, so I thought that meant I probably wasn't going to race. However, I was wrong yet again. I should just stay on guard right up until the race because this is at least the third time I've been put into the 4x800m somewhat unexpectedly. I felt pretty good during the warmup and race. I think I was right when I said that something felt different after my race at Ithaca Relays because I beat my last 800 meter by 4 seconds and did pretty well in the 3k. Rotem ran the 3k for the first time, right after running in the 4x800m and 400m. She was basically running for the entire meet. I stuck behind an Elmira girl for the first few laps, but then I started dropping farther back as the race went on. I ended up running 12:16 which is far away from my pr of 11:25, but it's still pretty good considering how much training I've had this season. I don't know what I'm running at Parkhurst yet, but if I'm running in the 3k then I'd like to try to break 12 minutes.
