First day of Championship lifting

October 6, 2009 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Weights

Comments:
New lift today as the team moves into the championship season.
4 sets by 6 reps Hang clean and jerk with 45 (Just did the bar for this. Felt easy. Coach Slyvester said to do the box jumps next time so thats what I'll do)

Front box step up 3 sets 10 each leg with 45 (Felt harder than the last exercise but not too bad really. Its supposed to be light though to let us race fast so I'm hoping it helps)

Single Leg Calf raises 2 sets 12 each leg (Nice and easy not too bad all)

Pullups and Bicp curls alternate sets of 10 curls with 45lbs (Hard I got 8 pullups the first time which was great for me. But then I just got sapped for the rest and only mamaged 3 the second set. Always something to work on)

DB arm runs with 5 each hand (Pretty easy just tried to pump hard on all of them)

General Notes: Need to cut down the rest between sets. This will help improve me. Coach Sylvester suggested this for now. Quick is the name of the game
