Comments:
Took me a while to get out the door. Into Conte a little in the morning, then digesting my delicious lunch at the new Japanese restaurant. It was hella humid out too and the rain finally came as I was going out. Its been a few days so I took it easy starting out, and took a nice simple path. On the bike trail I could really open it up and legs got into it, started to feel pretty good actually. I kept going was in the groove, added on a mile down towards Station Rd. The rain was never that hard. It was refreshing. Felt good to be back out there on the streets.
Essentials: Stretch
Downed some gatorade and then stretched outside. It was still drizzling and I was drenched from sweat. At that point, I just felt tired and depleted. I ended up just sitting outside for a while in the drizzle, letting the past week all sink in. Feeling better after the run even if it was a low energy activity. Legs needed that.
