I was so excited for this trip!
And i had SO much fun!!
Thank you so much for the trip coaches!
My goal for this race was to run with Sarah again. And i accomplished it :D We run great together!
What could i have done better? I could have finished better. i couldn't get myself to kick as fast as i needed to.
What did i do great? I think sticking with Sarah, and encouraging each other, passing when we could, that was great! haha
Mile 1: I was kind of nerves because i started a lot faster than i normally do. That was really scary for me! Haha. The first mile went by super fast tho. Don't really remember much besides the start. but i felt ok
Mile 2: I started feeling icky, like i wanted to slow down, my stomach wasn't feeling so great. But with Sarah there pushing me i just kept telling myself just keep running, just keep running(kinda like nemo) haha. And all of our team was cheering and giving us advice so that always helps.
Mile 3: This was where Sarah really started picking it up, over where Taylor and Sam were cheering, Taylor was saying this is it guys remember to kick it. and i was like oooohhh noooo! haha just kidding, but thats how i felt! haha so i tried picking it up too. Stuck with her for as much as i could then we finished!
I was SO happy with my race!!! I have a new pr now! And it is SOOO close to breaking 23!!! which is CRAZY!!
