Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
My goal for this race was to beat 23 haha no it didn't happen.
What could i have done better? I could have not died off during the end of the race, and i also could have finished stronger.
What did i do great? I feel like a got another good, fast start.
mile 1: Was SUPPER crammed! Tons of people! I liked that though, because i had to get around people and i wasn't just running in a strait line, i had to think about how to get around these people and stuff like that, kinda forgetting about the running part for a second haha I felt great on the first mile, but it was a lot longer than i realized.
Mile two: i started to lead the pack! That was fun until i had nobody to run with. I kept yelling back to Sarah and Molly to get up here with me, but they didn't till the very end. It was pretty tough to keep myself going all alone.
Mile three: Still didn't have my running buddy! I defiantly think that i slowed down a lot on that really long strait part before the side walk around the base ball field or what ever they were. I could see Rachael and i couldn't remember where the end was, i wish i would have sped up then. When i came around the corner to the finish i asked Rusty if this was the end and he said yep about a 150 left so i was thinking okay great! Just one stride! So i tried to pick it up and pass that girl i was with, but she passed me and then so did Molly! :D
I was pretty bummed with my time, but i guess its a slow course, so I'm okay with it! I felt like i was running SO much faster than normal. Oh well! I am going to break 23 at districts. I am!
