two sets of 4-3-2-1 with CA

Weather: 80, already

Comments:
Saw one new patient in the AM (that went really long), then CA and the guys met me at the office. We all warmed up together, then CA and I headed to the track for some short speed.

Felt heavy at first, then pretty good. We traded off leading. The first set, I kept a little easier, then pushed more in the second set:

77, 54, 34, x
69, 52, 32, x

Happy with this workout. Stride felt good. Worked HARD on not swiv-ing: with small, strong (and "wide-feeling") elbow swings.

Ran a couple miles of cooldown, then straight to In Shape to lift, then home.

Rest of the afternoon: "entertaining" the guys, as they hung out, pre-race, then helped CA a tiny bit with the van. Didn't leave town 'til like 5:30! Stopped for burgers in Oakridge, so we missed the meeting, entirely.

Willamette Pass was SUPER-SMOKEY! Slept at the PCT TH.
