5 miles Warm-Up : City Loop ending at Reservoir Hill - (My House - Jackson - Grantley - Country Club - Richland - Market - George - Country Club - Reservoir Hill) 32:38
1.5 miles on Reservoir Hill : 8x150m-ish hills
4.5 mile Cool Down : Same as warm up but reversed- Didn't feel good cooling down though as it was still warm and back was tightening up so I cut it short by taking Kings Mill instead of Country Club home, had to stop once too 31:17
Workout went well. I was only planning to do 4 or 6 at the max and not to do the normal whole hill rep we do in XC. I just wanted to get used to running hills again since I was struggling lately and think it's time to start working on building some strength, not only for hill running but in general too. Started out, felt great. Pretty sure we've ended before where I was ending and the fastest I've ever done for them was 34. My first today was a 33 and I was just building up into it, not taking off hard. Kept feeling good so I kept doing more until I was exhausted at 6 and running fast. Wanted 2 more badly for some reason but I took a quick rest beforehand, then I started off slow then built speed until I was moving at the end.

Also ran in the afternoon when it was warmer and in the sun. Even though hills are shaded, warmup and cooldown was not.
