hard w/u from store to track (1.0 in 6:50!)
20x400 on 2 min- 50 yard line s/f with jog across infield for recovery. Wanted to hot about 92 down to 88, but kept running 85...so i went with it. took a 1 lap jog/water break after 10, to make it 2 sets, and took an extra 45 seconds to a minute between 15 and 16 to make sure i didn't get too far into O2 debt. Actually felt really strong, comfortable, and while form didn't feel super smooth, I kept finding that same rhythm even though I was trying to slow down. Ended up doing the 6.1 of the workout in about 42:00, including the 4 minute 1/4 mile jog between sets! Was running 6:45-6:50 miles with jogs.
