Comments:
Tuesday, so I figured I'd do a workout. I was mildly anxious about thunder with the hurricane plopped down off the atlantic coast, but it ended up being fine. I wanted to do something longer, so I hit up the PU XC course for some intervals. 5x1000m @5k pace, with 2:15 rest inbetween. Ended up averaging like 3:45 for each rep, which was okay by me. The times weren't terribly consistent though, considering the unevenly hilly course. Felt good overall, plus the rain was a big help in keeping cool. Even more fun was pulling out my old
XC Victories. Haven't worn those babies in a long time. Kept the intervals feeling quick, but still grippy. Looking forward to racing with them again soon.
