Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Raced at 12:30. Had to rush to the line which was pretty stressful because we didn't start warming up until 35 mins before for various reasons, but Eva was great and helped us get there! Ran the first 1.5 miles with Ellie, but was just really not feeling it after that, so let her get ahead. It was incredibly hot with no shade and I had a bad cramp and my calves were really tight. Matt's cheering got me through it--at one point he was cheering hanging from the football goal, and then fell off as I passed by! Also, before our race, his words of wisdom were, "Just remember, if you're feeling hot, another girl is feeling hotter. If you're feeling tired, another girl is feeling tireder. If you're feeling a hill, another girl's feeling it hillier!" Tried to think about that during my race, but didn't help as much as I'd hoped when I was feeling all those things.
