29th-Amazon to In Shape & home

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 60, nice!

Comments:
After sitting at home doing work, I got a wild hair and decided to get my lift in (especially since CA wasn't home from the garden, yet).

Stretched and taped my ankle with K-tape, then left, thinking I'd do a good 2-3 miles ahead of lifting. I was SO stiff in the first kilo that I almost bailed and ran straight to the gym, but by the time I bottomed out, I felt good, so I kept going. Stopped for 13 pull-ups, then did a whole bark loop and wound up at In Shape.

Good lift: squats, shoulders-arms, OH snatches, single leg jumps. Then ran home

PM:
- cleaned up quick and went to Sam Bond's
- had a good - and overdue for me - chat with CA. I FINALLY sort of "explained" to her that period of my life (mid '13 - mid '14) of "The Game" and my escapades with Cliff. I wanted to explain that, because I know she knows about it (and has seen those books around), but I never addressed it. I talked about my insights on what wounds-needs drove that behavior, as part of this ongoing idea of formulating "a coherent narrative" on our lives. Really good chat, and she shared some good insights, too. I was relieved that she wasn't threatened or judgmental about it.

Went to Ninkasi for another beer and food truck fare, then home. Fun Friday night.
