Finally Fall?

Most amazing workout today! It finally was kind of cool and misty--perfect workout whether! Did 5*800 at AU with Linguine (Jenna, Lucia, Mia, Camilla, Sophie, Megna, and probably other people that I'm forgetting :/ ) Our goal time was 3:30 which I was really nervous for because my 800 PR is like 3:05 and I don't think I could race one faster than like 3:15 right now, so that seemed really fast, and 5 seemed like a large number. It was definitely a challenging workout, but I'm really proud of my consistency and speed. I feel like I finally have a group that's the right speed and I can actually run with, and that's really exciting because often the last two years I'd dread track workouts because I'd be way behind the slowest group. Not that that's bad--great respect for those people--but I know from personal experience how hard and demoralizing it can be sometimes. It's great to have a group to work off of though because I definitely wouldn't have worked that hard without them next to me. I'm excited that my shins are holding up, and my fitness is increasing, and I can't wait to see what I can do in these last couple races!
