Lithia Park Trails w/CA

November 3, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: mid 40s, rain

Comments:
Slept pretty good. We were up early enough to get in a run and breakfast before hitting the road.

The run was solid: so glad the ankles are doing so much better. Very minimal stiffness, when before, a run this early (with so little warm-up) would've been brutal.

Ran in a light mist in cold temps, from our hotel downtown, right up the creek to the trails. No one was out, barely. CA led to the little pond and dirt road, where we normally do our pre-race (Sonoma, Cool) strides. Did 4-5, feeling OK.

Post-run we packed up...and I just felt CRAPPY. Like...allergies. At Morning Glory, I pounded an allegra to combat it, and that seemed to help...

[turns out, I think this was the leading edge of being sick...as there should've been zero allergens in the rainy weather]

Headed out after that. I drove up and over a sleeting pass, and CA drove the last chunk from pre-Redding to Sac.

Met everyone at the hotel, where I worked on Thomas' heels (he's way narrow-landing, which explains his issues).

After that, we had a beer-and-a-half in the room with Tammy and my mom, before CA and I took off toward Rocklin. Met BGD in Roseville for burgers (mediocre), then to his house.

Felt REALLY TIRED and "off"...although I was sociable. It was weird. Again...a bad sign.
