Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
"Crap I'm late," swore Chris as he raced into Veale. He usualy met his good friend Tim Smith every Thursday at 4 to go for a run but today things hadn't gone so well. He had gotten a lie in that morning which he reidly enjoyed but once the hustle and bustle of the day consumed him he was lost in its wirlwind. His SAGES class had ran late and that had put him off his game.
"Tim Smith is probably bouncing off the walls waithing to finnish his run," Chris thought as he slipped into the bathroom after his customery pre-run Sinckers. There was Tim Smith!
"Crap" he's probably been waiting awhile Chris thought to himself as he quickly headed the call of nature and lingered over the sink.
"There's nothing to be done about it now" He thought to himself and quickly pushed through the door into the locker room. There Chris threw on his running costume and hurried into the lobby. There was Tim Smith sitting on the training table tapping his foot. A few other harriers lay around the table in various stages of there workouts. Big Joe was streaching while Jeff was limbering up for his own run.
"Sorry I'm late," apoligized Chris with a sheepish grin on his face.
"Thats okay," replied Tim, "I'm just making sure no one else is going out for a run besides me, you, and Frodo here."
"Hey!" replied Jeff "My feet aren't that hairy!"
With a laugh the three set out for an 8 mile trot on North Park through the infamous east Cleveland suburb of Cleveland Heights. As they ran the conversation moved from the comming track season that would soon be upon them. This excited Chris very much. A couple miles in Chris was execited to discover his high school Twinsburg, locked in a contest of soccer with Beaumont a high school that lay along the well worn path the runners had chosen that day.
"GO TWINSBURG" yelled Chris as they passed. Hopefully they will avenge their 4-0 loss of yesteryear. As the runners moved on their conversation moved from the previous light hearted banter to their usual conversation of Tursdays: politics. As political insight began to fill the air the runners made the turn and headed for home. Free Trade was one such topic, as was the old faithful: The National Debt which raised both their ire. Full of dreary thoughts about the US's future spending trends the two figures floated back down Adelpert road to where that days run began Veale.
Sorry Colin I can't think of a novely way to write about extra non running stuff.
