December 22, 2017 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 10, breezy = COLD
Comments:
Easy, EASY, stiff run from the house: not much stretching, no coffee. Had to get it done. Averaged maybe 8:30 pace in some slick footing. Ran north down Ely Lake Drive, then east down 97 -- rather than west and downhill toward the usual route. The footing was decent on the eastbound, but narrow and slick on the outbound.
COLD. Stiff. Bleh. Worked hard on using my feet, "propelling behind" (pawback, foot push, heel recovery) AND being "crouched" (hip hinge, load).
Rest of the day:
- to FNBG to sign all the mortgage docs with Matt
- to Matt's house to see Megan and the girls
- back to Uncle Joe's, then south back to RF
- was going to run again, but had a long convo with my mom (some interesting relationship-communication dynamics with Callie), then to Max's to see his new kid
Busy but good day.
