Wissioming Hill Workout

Comments:
Ran 6 x Wissioming (my street) hills. The hill is about .13 miles long (209 meters or so), and is about as steep as the second half of the Reno hill. My hill is extremely steep for the first 2/3, and then slightly less steep for the last 1/3. I start from the same pothole each time, and stop as I run past the front wheel of my car parked on the street about 15 meters after the top of the hill. It makes for a nice crest at the end. Recovery was jogging down the hill.

The workout itself was strong. I was able to push a little harder on each one, lowering the split consistently each rep. I just felt focused. It was hard, but I felt in control of my body and I was locked into my form even at that last 1/3 of the hill where it usually starts to break down. I probably could've done a couple more, but I was only planning to do 6 and decided that more would be a bit of overkill. I decided to just jog it out after the sixth.

Left quad was a little funky on the jog afterwards, but a little massaging and rolling did the trick. Happy with how this went.
