Exercise Type: Run

Weather: mid 40s, dry

Comments:
Saw a couple clients in the AM, then was hoping to get in a workout before yoga. However, about a half-mile into the run I realized:

- I'd run hard three times already this week (Monday 5K, Tuesday 12x100m, Thursday 8x100m hill)
- I'm working out tomorrow on the MRT! (Minutes Fartlek long trail run)

So I ran easy. Wearning my adidas flats, I rolled into South Eugene. I've seriously got like 900 miles or something on these shoes, but they're still comfy!

Ran breathing nose-only - the whole seven miles! Really great! SO relaxing!

Ran into South Eugene and followed signs to an Estate Sale. These are the clutch sales, where you're most likely to get quality furniture. Stopped in and looked around, then left.

Ran all the way down to Martin St, did pull-ups, then kept going, then back through Tugman. It was harder to nose-breathe going uphill, but it moderates effort.

It's also a great check-in for posture! If I flat-back, breathing is harder.

Wrapped up on adidas trail (more pull-ups), then back to the office.

GOOD RUN. Ankle felt great, too! A little stiff early, then no problems. Major focus on 1st toe pushing.

Post-run: drove to yoga, 45-min flow class. Solid. Post-yoga, I went to In Shape to squat and curl. Squatted 155, with which I was happy.

PM: fun night in The Grove, beers and coaching chats with Ricky. The more we talk, the more aligned our philosophies and values turn out to be. Solid guy, and fun night in CG.
