Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Went down to MLK for a brush from the past a straight simple 5 mile tempo. No pickups or hard intervals before just the straight tempo. It was nice to "get back to basics" as it were with what used to be our bread and butter workout early this season. I felt pretty good oveall. I was running with the top group till the turnaround when I stopped to tie my shoe and dropped back with the wounded warrriors who were running the same pace just a little farther back. Picked it up a little with Ethan K the last mile. Was onle a few sexonds though. Also I missed the mile mark the first time so the first mile is about 3 seconds slow and the other 3 seconds fast. After 4x200 striders at 2 mile (10:00) pace. Ran with Vaughn and talked track toward the end. Had to rush back after to get to lab so the cool down was only 2 miles.
Splits from weorkout: 5:54, 5:39, 5:56(with shoe tie probably at least 10 sec slow), 5:47, 5:43
Heart Rate at end 176 (A littel high but it was slick with wet leaves most of the way)
After lab: Static 1 and Ibis Coach Lenese circut
3x15 dips
Resting Heart Rate: 52 (High it was racing when I awoke and I couldn't get it to calm for some reason. We'll see what it is tomorrow and judge)
