Comments:
My first run of April was a fun one. Joined the distance runners from Churchville at Roberts for a speed workout. It was cool and windy, but a nice day. Did a mile and a half warm up with some strides, then 3 x 1600; 2 x 800; 4 x 200 meters and a mile+ cool down. Felt good. My mile times were: 5:45, 5:45, 5:24. (88, 86, 84, 87), (88, 85, 86, 86), (81, 84, 80, 79) 5:00 jog between each. 800's were 2:45, 2:45. 200's were 39, 39, 39, 37 (200 jog recovery). Not a bad little workout. Nutrition needs to be better.
