Energy: OK
Sleep: GOOD.
Saw two patients this AM, then had a coaching meeting with David, again at the house. Josh Jaqua was supposed to go on a bike ride with us, but he bailed, so it was just us.
I was feeling a little rough, so we decided against the longer Gimpl Hill route. CA got in front of me on the flats, but I reeled her in on the climbs in the second half.
Rest of the day:
* saw another client at 1:30
* practice
Specific Speed Session today. It was tough to organize, even with only maybe 7 kids. Out today, again: Sam and Maddy, and Morgan, who rolled her ankle on the dang warm-up.
The workout:
400 runners (Amar, Angi): 250, 2x150 at GP
800 runners (Callan, Kyler, Jaesa): 400, 2x250 at GP
1500 runners (Hunter): 600, 3x300m at GP
They all then finished with 3x150 "swing-out strides".
They nailed nearly every rep.
Sam and Maddy: still to pain-sensitive to workout. They did drills and jogs in the infield, then were able to do a couple laps before we called it.
Short weight session following.
No hunt or Journal Club afterward. Pretty tired from a long day. Energy was down for both CA and I -- could be pollen related
