KY - short (but hot one) in Wilmore, KY

Weather: 90s, humid

Comments:
Up EARLY at 3:30AM to travel to Kentucky for CA's youngest Cooper cousin wedding. TSA PRE is the bomb: we left the house at 4:00, got to the airport at 4:20, inside by 4:25 and through security by like 4:27. Never going back!

Caught a quick breakfast in DEN (Root Down is great), then second flight to Cincinnati. From there I drove halfway 'til the kombucha we bought started a histamine spike, which made me really tired (and really itchy), so CA took over while I napped.

Drove straight to Wilmore, where the Coopers live. It's a town of maybe like...a few thousand people? But it has a nice private school that's nearby the real B&B we're staying at.

Checked in, chatted with CA's parents, then snuck out for a run.

I thought it was going to be a disaster: up early (and only 4hr of sleep, which can't happen), long travel, and fucking hot. But it turned out...OK. We ran SUUUPER easy to the Asbury College campus and ran around, trying to find trails. We didn't really, but got enough for a couple mile shake-out, which was plenty for me. CA added on a couple more.

Rest of the day:

* rehearsal/groom's dinner at the Cooper house, out in the country, the site of the wedding. They had pizza (which I couldn't eat) and salad, which was a bummer.
* back to town, where we got me a snack ("night oats!") before bed.

Solid day.

Sleep: mediocre (OK, but way not enough)
Gut: pretty good.
Energy: good, all things considered.
