Yachats - easy in town (809 Trail, beach)

July 7, 2018 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: mid 60s, fairly calm, NICE. BUSY

Comments:
Slept IN today. Or Callie did. Neither of slept too great. It got hot in the van. I slept 'til about 7 or 8, and she slept 'til nearly 10! Like a 12-spot!

By the time we got up and packed up, we weren't in town to run 'til nearly noon, I think. I was feeling off and not very good, so we kept it flat and easy.

Ran from Drift Inn, north along the ocean road, all the way to the 809 trail and the north Smelt Sands beach. Felt so-so. Pretty damn tired.

After we turned back, we ran a straight out and back,then continued on to the beach south of town: the "State Natural Area". That's where I think we'll have the ceremony.

Then, of course, Callie had to be sneaky and jump in the ocean before me. I got a late start; we had to run a long way, as it was mega-low tide. AFter that, we actually went up to the river and doused/forded across the river!

OK run, but TIRED. Not sure why (see below).

Rest of the day:
* "breakfast" of oats on the tailgate of the van
* to Overleaf to work on wedding deets
* beer walk along the beach
* Luna's fish for dinner
* back up to camp

Got TIRED and CRANKY, worse at night. What I think happened: the sauna yesterday zapped me too hard. I'm still senstive it seems. Is it overall neurological? Or is it "toxins", yet?

Either way, it was interesting...
