Comments:
Well most of us showed up, and we tried to start playing. Could see and hear storms in the background, and we assumed they were coming to Amherst. Made it through one inning (we were winning at the time actually!) then it started to drizzle and someone saw a big lightning bolt. Made our way to the parking lot, and by the time we go there, torrential downpour started and there was lighting all over the place, real close by. I got stuck in the bathroom overhang and had to wait for it to calm down before running out to the parking lot. Games got called there was an inch or so of standing water in the parking lot. I can only imagine what the fields looked like. Resume on Thursday. This season just keeps going and going.
