Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I had to grind today, keep pushing. That needs to be balanced, most efficiently by going outside. Made myself come back and got out there. Rain was coming down, not downpouring but consistent. I want some speed, legs have been feeling powerless lately. Nice warm up to the track at ARHS. Its just the right distance. Set my timer to 2 mins then did 4x400 intervals on the rest. It was a lot shorter than I expected, probably should go to 3 min if I want to fit in more reps. It was surprisingly good though, felt natural out there actually. Splits were:
88,83,84,85
Its always a nice feeling to get back on the track. The rain kept me refreshed too. Came back down High St nice and easy.
Essentials: Stretch
Easy stretch out in the rain. Quads not as tight as past few days. 3 days in a row might be a recent record. I would be a little disappointed in myself if I was sore after that.
